You Asked; We Listened: It’s Frugal Friday

A few weeks ago we asked our readers how we could deliver more of a wow experience through our blog and business. One of our customers requested that we start aggregating cost-effective ideas to save money while still remaining stylish.

Welcome to Frugal Friday! Each Friday we’ll scour the web and the local community to find out where you can find killer pieces at a stellar price.

Last week we brought you Threadflip. You can see that post here.

This week we’re fearing the Community Closet through New Hope Community Life at 128 Townsedge Drive in Quarryville, PA.

Why do we love them? Our founder, Jasmine grew up going to Solanco High School and the purpose of The Community Closet is to help stabilize the budget for the counseling ministry in a practical way to the Solanco community. Their mission is not only to sell clothes and other items at discount prices but also to offer direct assistance in the form of free clothing for verified needs through the Director of the Solanco Neighborhoods Ministry. New Hope donates a portion of the store’s income to this local ministry, which is the administrating organization for the Solanco Fuel Fund, Solanco Food Bank, and the Samaritan Fund. New Hope also generates funding for many other local ministries as well.

We’re featuring this organization because you can find stellar pieces at an amazing price and you’ll be giving back to our hometown.
