If You Miss This Party Now You’ll Regret It Later

So this year our founder, Jasmine, is celebrating her ___th birthday. What’s that number? Oh, it’s not important.

But here’s what is: along with cracking open a vintage bottle of wine that was plucked was the vine the day before she was born from her maiden name’s vineyard, McDowell Vineyards, the Ruby, Inc. team in conjunction with representatives from  Kiwi Marketing Group, Tellus 360, PNC Bank, Sloppy Janes, Plum Salon and Spa, and Confrontational Clothing have decided to celebrate in a big way.

We’ve decided to help Linzey Zoccola propel her organization forward and we’d be honored if you’d help.

Linzey founded Phoenix Assistance Dogs in 2009 as a non-profit (without present 501c3 status) that trains dogs to assist individuals with disabilities. Linzey herself is disabled, and suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, which confines her to wheelchair. This means she needs assistance with everything. At age 15, Linzey got her first service dog and it transformed her life and abilities. As a result she now trains, raises and transforms castaway critters into full-fledged service dogs for the disabled without any cost to the recipients. The organization is run entirely on donations from the community as well as volunteers. It’s estimated that upon graduation it costs nearly $40,000 per animal to make it through the program.

This upcoming Oct. 26 beginning at 6 p.m. Tellus 360 will be hosting a community event including live music, food, drinks, and a silent auction. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Phoenix Assistance Dogs and at full disclosure, our co-founder Cory, is the co-director of the non-profit.

We’d be honored if you’d consider making a donation of your goods or services for the silent auction and we’d also be honored if you’d consider purchasing tickets for the event. Tickets are $35 a person. Your donation will go to help continue Linzey’s work with individuals with disabilities who are training their own assistance dogs. If you’d prefer to skip the party all together, that’s a-okay too. You’re welcome to purchase items directly from the Phoenix Assistance Dogs Wishlist here.

Thank you for considering our request.

You’re welcome to mail your donations to Tellus 360, earmarked Phoenix Assistance Dogs, 24 East King St Lancaster, PA 17602. If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact Jasmine here.
